TASTE OF CHAOS 3/14 @ CAMDEN, NJ REVIEW!!!
HOLY BALLS THIS SHOW WAS AMAZING!!!
Breaking it up into parts again, so you can skip random junk lol
BEFORE THE SHOW.
So my dad came to get me around 8:00 in the morning, and after printing out directions we headed out on the road.
Took around two hours to get there, and we totally missed the street the venue was on so we had to turn around and all that. We stopped to get some McDonald's and he dropped me off.
metalgearmatt16, Chrissy, Roger, and John were already there, along with some other people (I forgot your names, sorry.) It was around 11, and we had a HELL of a lot of time to kill. So we just dicked around talking about Jrock, girugamesh, D'espairs Ray and MUCC for a while. Roger told John he should go up to Tatsurou and say, "HORSEDICK." I was lik, "Hey, Matt, you remember that one picture of MUCC where they're posing in front of the horse with his dick hanging out?" And we busted out laughing for like ten minutes.
So blah blah, boring waiting, jamming to MUCC on my ipod, yada yada. The American band fans started showing up. One girl had the TACKIEST hot pink little frufru tutu whatthefuck on.
ANYWAY.
Some more people showed up and we all chatted for a while blah blah. Some people came out and told us that if we sign up for some bone marrow thing that we'd get in a half hour early. So we all signed up. Time came and we went inside to do the cheek swabbing business. I was trying to figure out where the hell the Tokyopop booth was and found out it was on the other side of the venue, but I couldn't get in until they opened the pit. So I went over there, met with Paul from Tokyopop, and he gave me the rundown of what was going on.
Blah blah blah.
THE SHOW
AND NOW, THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEN WAITING FOR.
THE SHOW. *cue epic music*
We occupied pretty much most of the first row in front of the main stage. The first band that played (I can't even remember their name) was so ridiculously horrible it's not even funny. All of six people squeezed onto that tinyass and attempted to emorock. There were two vocalists, which was pointless cause they both sounded the same. God.... it was torture listening to them. Some of D'espairs Ray came out and started to set up, so I watched them instead. Better on the eyes and all. I forgot my camera though, so I wasn't able to get pictures. Bummer.
Finally the emofail left the stage and D'espairs Ray came on. It was fuckin' BRUTAL. We were all rockin' out. I was throwing down and trying to mosh, but no one around me did a damn thing. Sucked. I don't know Despa that well, so I can't tell you what they played, other than Sixty Nine, lol. If anyone knows, tell me XD
All too soon D'espairs Ray left, and Idiot Pilot took second stage. Sorry, but that band FAILS. I honestly tried to listen, but it wasn't even remotely enjoyable. Matt poked me and pointed to main stage where, lo and behold, Yukke walked out and started setting up.
That man is so freaking gay.
Every movement, every gesture he made screamed fag. BUT I DIGRESS. Sadly, I kept watching him (I mean come on, it was better than watching Idiot Fail) He was wearing a dress/skirt thing (he probably stole it from Tatsurou) and all this Indian looking garb. Satochi and Miya set up also and they all left the stage. Then, as if God blessed us all, Idiot Pilot left the stage and it was time for...
MUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCC
YEEEEEEAAAAHHHHHH. ALRIGHT. They all came out and we all went into an uproar of cheers. I fucking went wild.
AND THEN.
THEN.
THE INTRO TO RANCHUU STARTED.
I fucking went BALLISTIC. I didn't think they were going to play RANCHUU!!! I fucking thrashed and elbowed people in the face and fuckin' threw down. Everyone behind me was like, "Dood, WTF."
Damn fuckers.
After that they played their new songs, which were fucking EPIC. HOLY SHIT. During the second of their new songs, I couldn't stop laughing at the way Yukke moved. Man, that man lives on the fucking rainbow.
Tatsurou did a little MCing; he was hilarious. He pretty much just made it blatantly obvious he was reading off the damn paper on the floor. Yukke pulled out the stand-up and I was like "HOLY SHIT, IT'S FUZZ!!! IT'S FUZZ!! FUUUUUUUUUZZZ!!!!one11278" and al of us fucking belted that shit out. ....or was it just me. No idea. We were all jumping and rockin' out.
THEN, AS IF GOD SAID TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY,
THEY PLAYED SHADAN.
I WENT INSAAAAAAAAAANE. I FINALLY was able to see that song live. Holy fuck. I tore that shit apart and sang along and everything. Damn. I love that song.
Then, Tatsurou said,"Lasson, Lasson.... LIBRA."
We all went into an uproar and fucking threw down and belted out the lyrics. It was so amazing. I had to watch Yukke during the chorus though, because I;ve been trying to figure out the bass to it for the longest time. I watched him and was like, "Fuck, I'm doing it wrong." LAWL. At the end we all waved our arms and whatnot.

AFTER THE SHOW.
Finally, they left. The Underneath was next, but I was exhausted and couldn't breathe, so I left. I got $4 water (WTF) and headed over to the Tokyopop booth. I chatted with Paul a bit and helped out some.
Time for the signing rolled around and we set up for it. The line wasn't too bad so far. At some point I was zoning and completely out of it when I heard the fangirls all scream. I turned around and nearly crashed into Karyu as he walked by. That fucker is TALL!! The rest of Despa walked past and I guided them to their seats. The Underneath was after, followed by MUCC. Yukke saw me and stopped, made an :O!! face and gestured spastically between me and him and I laughed and said "Hai" and pointed between me and him. XDD It was so great. He was really happy to see me with his damn bowl cut. He tapped Satochi on the shoulder and pointed to me and was like, "OH!!" grinned and gave me the thumbs up. Haha. Then Miya and Tatsurou walked past, but all I got of Tatsu was his arm. Bitch is tall, too. Or maybe I'm just really freaking short.
They all took their seats and I hurried to pass out waters for them. Camera were going and it was a rush.
Tatsurou: "Oh, snap!"
The signing started, and it felt like it went on FOREVER. I stood behind the Underneath and watched as the line seemed to go on forever. I knew half the people in line, too. So I pretty much just chilled and talked to people and occasionally glanced back to see what was going on. I saw Peter, Aoi-chan, friend from college, and a helluvalot of people I can't remember. But it was good times.
Finally, the line was ending and I jumped in to get my stuff signed. Shook hands with the Underneath and D'espairs Ray. Then, it was MUCC. Yukke was smiling when he saw me and waved again. I smiled and waved back, then fumbled around in my hands for their Starbucks giftrcards. I handed Yukke his, and it took him a while to read his name, but then laughed and said, "Ah, Yujje! Yujje desu!" "Hai, Yujje!" "Yujje!" Miya looked over and laughed. I put down my junk for him to sign and shook his hand. I gave Miya his giftcard. He read it, laughed and pointed to it, "Ah, Mia." "Hai, hai." And he totally made a XD face. He thanked me and I thanked him back and shook his hand. I gave Satochi his, and since he didn't have a different name, I just put SATOち. He thanked me and shook my hand. Then I asked him for a hug. I held out Tatsurou's card and, I swear he had serious ADD and didn't notice the thing for like, five minutes. Finally he saw it and was like, "Oh! Sankyuu beri much!" And laughed and thanked him, and asked him for a hug. He nearly ate me alive, tall-ass bastard. And he wasn't even standing. Goddamn I'm short. =___=;

So then the line ended and they left. we chilled for a while and talked to people before I went to help Paul pack up the booth. Not too long after we left, and that was the end of an awesomely amazing concert. Little did I know that Monday's would even more brutally epic.
I was too lazy to write in all the details, lol. DEAL WITH IT.
