Sorry it took me so long to get this out, but if you haven't noticed, it is fucking LONG, and I've had pretty much no free time since the concert to actually write it all. so you better enjoy it. 8D IT'S PICTURE HEAVY?!


SO.

As per usual I will start with the drive there. Tatsu-shi and Nii~ came to pick me up around 8am or so. I threw my guitar, bass, and amps in the trunk and we headed out to pick up remix_sakura and her friends (I can't remember your names, I'm really sorry...). Smart nigga Nii~ left his ticket at Mike's so we had to drive all the way back to get it.

It was around 9:30 when we actually started the drive down to Fairfax. We talked about random shit, MUCC, Jrock, and stuff I can't remember. Although I do remember discussing the jiz suits quite clearly. and HORSEDICK. and okay, seriously: WHAT IS UP WITH YOU GIRLS AND BRINGING UP YAOI ALL THE GODDAMN TIME?!

So we pretty much jammed to MUCC the whole way down, ran into some FAIL traffic, but at last, around 11, we arrived.


BEFORE THE SHOW.
We parked in some random ass parking lot and walked 400 miles to the arena. There were all of five people there, three of which were fellow [geist] mates. There were two Despa fans that were all "OMG, we only travel for Despa lyk omg desu nyappy."

Yeah.

トニカク。 We chilled for a bit, until I found out where the McDonald's was, and _mistress and I went to grab some grub. We came back and rocked out to some MUCC playing on my ipod (again), then decided it was really fucking BORING waiting around. After a while Sakura and I went to McDonald's again to get more food. After making a pit stop at 7-Eleven, we come back. Then Nii~ and I decided to get my guitar and bass from the car and just jam since there was nothing else to do. We go around to the other side, past the buses and just kinda look down to see what's going on.

Nothing.

So we get the instruments and head back, and these two girls were like, "Miya and Satochi are down there smoking!!" I look at Nii~, and we both walk over. No one. We come back and tell them we didn't see anyone. Then the admin from Jshock stops us and recognizes me. We talk for a bit and then Nii~ and I head back around to the other side. I barely have time to chill before Jshock!admin wants to talk to me again. So I run back over to the other side and we chat. Turns out she needed volunteers, so I round up the gang (Tatsu, Nii~, and _mistress) and we head on into the venue.

We sit around waiting for doors to open. We had 500 myspace bags ready to hand out. Those bitches were annoying as hell to make. If you got one you better still have it or I'll kill you.

Cool thing though, we were standing around near one of the portals and we could see the stage and everyone setting up. Saw one of the Underneath guys and the roadie dude with EPICBEARD. At one point Miya walked out and did some stuff. But he's so damn short he disappeared half the time behind equipment. lol. And apparently Tatsurou was spotted on the other side of the hall coming out of some door.

And I also gotta give a quick shoutout and thanks to Harry (even though he will probably never read this) for letting me keep my instruments at his booth. If it wasn't for him they'd probably be stolen and I'd have never gotten them signed. So thanks a lot, man!! :D I owe you!

FINALLY, the doors open and we hand out the bags. Those bitches went out fast! Thank Bejesus. As soon as I handed out the last one I turned around and went straight for the merch table. Bought shirts for gacktjr and her friends, along with stuff for Nii~ so he wouldn't have to stand in line.

THE SHOW.
FINALLY, IT WAS TIME.
We rushed into the pit, and easily found our ginormous group of like, 20 people. Found bokuwasado and friends in the mix and they joined us.

The opening band was Count Your Blessings, from WALDORF, MARYLAND. I can't STRESS THAT ENOUGH. They seriously repeated it like 2738 times. They were four million times better than the opening band at Camden, though, and I actually enjoyed listening to and watching them. Except, they all had on these skintight shirts that just looked... a;skhuaokl. UGH.

I wanted to reach up there and zip up the fucking thing so bad. It annoyed the HELL outta me. I also kept thinking HORSEDICK the whole time, but let's not go there...

Count Your Blessings finished and exited the second stage, and then D'ESPAIRS RAY CAME ON.

They looked fucking AMAZING!!! The crowd went a roar and I jumped as high as I could (me being a shortass and not seeing anything) and yelled at the top of my lungs as they started playing. Like I said before, I'm not too familiar with Despa so I can't tell you what they played, but I've read that they played Infection, Angeldust, and some other songs I can't remember. I fail at being a Despa fan, I know. *corner*

I was looking around the stage for a moment and saw the bowl cut of doom peeking out from backstage right. I pointed him out to some people, and also saw that Miya was there, enjoying the show as well. I dunno why but I couldn't stop lawling. Maybe cause they were lawling to each other, I don't know. BACK TO THE DESPA SHOW.

During their set we had an awesome mosh pit going. The first song wasn't even over yet and my pit bracelet already broke off. Luckily I found it. There were some kickass people in the pit this time, and I had a fucking blast. Unfortunately at one point I wasn't paying attention and got pushed back pretty hard. I slammed my leg down the wrong way and ended up popping my knee. It hurt like a fucking bitch, so I had to stop for a while. I took the time to watch them on stage and rock out. By the fourth song I was okay again and went back to throwing down hardcore.


Have I mentioned how awesome they are live?

And not to mention the awesome crowd at Fairfax. They were fucking awesome. I think Despa made some new fans. XD Alas, they played their last song, and we waved sadly as they left the stage. I showed my support one last time by death-screaming my undying love for hizumi's crot--- lol, I KID.

I watched as Satochi and Miya set up their stuff. ANYTHING to not have to watch or listen to that fail band play. Seriously, how the fuck did they land this tour? The MUCC gang left, and I did something else to pass the time. Then God graced us all by kicking the Idiots off stage and bringing on the ever-awesome and epicly amazing

I get Kai and Hiro and everyone to start chanting MUCC and we all chant and shout as loud as we could. People looked at us with "wtf" faces but I didn't give a flying shit. This was MUCC and I was gonna do what the hell I wanted. So. Satochi comes out and we all cheer, then Yukke, Miya, and finally Tatsurou. They were all wearing the EXACT SAME THING as the Friday show, except this time Miya had some pastel-colored looking skirt-towel thing tied around his waist. It looked corny, sorry. Tatsurou did a quick little MC and then the intro started.

Cue death growl/scream from me, Hiro and Kai. We were all like "RANCHUU!!!! RANCHUU!!!!! AUUGGHghgaidlhfas98df!!!" And the second it kicked in was instant mosh pit. We went fucking ballistic. It was a pretty decent-sized pit, too, comprised of mostly us but with a few other people as well. They were really getting into it, it was BRUTAL. I was trying to "sing" along (i.e. death growl) but failed horribly so I just screamed. I sang along to the chorus and then... the BREAKDOWN. I fucking threw down on that shit. By the end of the song we had the mosh pit going again. At one point during MUCC KAi threw out his back, so he had to refrain for a bit. :/

Then came Nuritsubusunara enji. Now I know it's a new song, but I heard it on Friday and remember every bit of it. It is such a fucking amazing song. We all threw down during the heavy parts and jumped around to it. Kick. ASS. After that they played Fukuro no Yurikago. That song is fun to hear/watch live, man. It's got heavy parts but also techno-y parts, so I was jumping up and down, singing along to it and moshing along. This band is entirely too amazing for words.

Tatsurou MC tiems desu nyappy. Like on Friday, he made it blatantly obvious he was reading off the sheet on the floor and even lol'ed at himself trying to read it. he is seriously too freaking funny. And he still can't say Bullets for My Valentine. XD He said something along the lines of, "Okay, okay *read*, hahahaa, okay. How are you tonight, Fairfax? Are you having fun?" Stuff I don't remember... "Are you ready for Burret foa my bale--bal.... Burret foa my balentine, atreYUU, and avenge sevenfol?" And he looked up with this 5-year-old expression that said "Did I do it right? :D?" I busted out laughing so bad. He is seriously on crack I swear.

Then Yukke rolled out the stand-up and literally EVERYONE in our general area bellowed FUUUUUZZZZZ!!!!! and shouted insanely. Now by this point me, Austin and a couple other guys were trying to plan some crowdsurfing, and once Fuzz started ITW AS TIME TO GO. One kick-ass dude lifted me up and I was on top of the world!!!

Okay, I was on top of the crowd. Don't burst my bubble.

Tatsurou and yukke looked straight at me and I was fucking moving all over the place and it was awesome. Until the crowd decided life sucked and pushed me right to security. Fuckers. BUT IT WAS SO MUCH FUCKING FUN. I got down and ran right back into the pit and jumped along and belted out the lyrics with everyone else. Me, Kai, Austin, and Hiro all did the "OH WHOA WHOAAAAAAA" along with Tatsurou and Yukke would look at us from time to time and smile and shake his head. IT WAS SO AWESOME!!! Going to MUCC lives with your friends and fellow MUCC fans is so much freaking fun. :D

Whoooooo, so after Fuzz, we all took a break as Tatsurou did a short little MC, and Miya started the intro to

I GOT TO HEAR/SEE SHADAN!! AGAIN!!! I was probably the only one who recognized the song at the first note and fucking BELLOWED out "SHADAN!! SHAAADAAAAN!!!!" as loud as I could. I swear Yukke and Tatsurou looked at me (or in my general direction) and smiled. GOD I LOVE THIS BAND?! It kicked in and we all went insane again and threw into another mosh pit. I went between moshing and headbanging a million times and couldn't decide what to do, until I just stopped and watched them on stage. I don't think you guys understand how awesome this song is live. I actually like the live versions more than the original, that's how awesome it is. I sang along to chorus since it was all I knew BUT IT WAS GOOD ENOUGH. I went all out and probably looked like the biggest dumbfuck in the pit, but I didn't care, this was Shadan. This dude standing near me kept looking at me funny the entire friggin' time. FUCK YOU, BITCH. THIS IS MY BAND. MY SONG. ENJOY IT GODDAMNIT.

So, Shadan ended sadly, and I knew that they would only have one last song. Tatsurou thanked us for supporting them and at last said, "Lasson, lasson.... Libra." Before he even got to the Libra part I was already shouting it out, and I felt a kind of sting in my chest. This would be the last time I'd see them live, until whenever it will be when they come again. the guitar intro started and we all went into a slow headbang when it kicked in. There were a few guys moshing and when the heavy bit stoped one guy was like, "Man, that was weak." I kinda laughed, cause Libra isn't exactly a moshing song, but whatever. I think I was the only person around me that was singing the verses along with Tatsurou, but we ALL fucking belted out the chorus. I know they noticed, because every so often they'd look at us and smile. It was... amazing. It feels great to have you favorite band recognize you on stage and know that you're there for them. It's hard to explain.

Anyway, Libra started to fade out, and we all cheered and jumped. Tatsurou thanked us again and bowed deep, then walked off the stage. Miya did the same, though I couldn't see him, and Yukke. I was pissed at him. He fucking threw out picks this time (he didn't use any during their entire set and hadn't thrown out any at Camden) and I didn't get one. Of course, I never get anything bands throw to the crowds, but that's beside the point. So I kinda blurted out a "fuck you" in anger.... Yeah, I know. *bricked*

After Satochi left the stage, we were talking about who was staying for the Underneath. I was dying, so I decided not to stay. Nii~ and I left, and after a while Kai, Hiro and Kane (and Aoi?) left, too. We ran into Drew near the Musicman stand and talked a bit. Nii~ wanted to go back into the pit during the Underneath and crowdsurf again, so we went back in and found the awesome guy that helped us out last time and we went up for another final round of fail crowdsurfing. You know how hard it is to crowdsurf when the waves suck? The pit was utter fail. Straight to security again, but we didn't give a fuck. We CROWDSURFED.

So after that we went to the AP booth to get in line for the Despa signing. _mistress was already in line so I just butted in with her (:D). We waited for centuries until I hear the wave of high-pitched fangirls screams and wails. Turn around to a high-five from Tsukasa and Zero and 'I'm-too-cool-to-touch-you' Karyu and Hizumi. lol. So we're near the front of the line, and the D'espairs Ray signing kinda sucked cause you could only get one thing signed and had to keep the line moving. And they didn't have posters. I didn't care cause I have my guitar, and I plopped it down in front of Tsukasa and he was all ":OOO!!!" He pointed to it and said, "This guitar yours?" and I nodded and said yes, and he was like," Whooaaaa, that's cool!" and gave me a thumbs up. He shook my hand, thanking me, and I thanked him back as he passed my baby onto Zero. Zero looked at it and went, "WAAAAOOOO!!! :OOOO!!! *point* Yours?!" I nodded. "Waaahh, Veri niiice!" and signed it. Thanks were exchanged and the guitar was passed down. When Karyu saw it, his eyes widened and he gaped at me and said "YOURS?!" I said yes again and he signed it, then petted and inspected it. Then he said something along the lines of "verii good/nice!" and stuck his hand out. I shook it and said thank you and went to Hizumi. Hizumi is major lawls. XD He didn't know what to do when he saw it. He just stared at it, then looked at me, and said (again) "Yours?!" Nodded again, and this time some lady that was sitting with them asked me if it was my guitar. I said yes for the kajillionth time and she was all "it's cool." I nodded to her and Hizumi and shook his hand, thanking him. They pushed us right along so I got outta line and just stepped of to the side, admiring my now SUPEREPICAWESOMEGODLYSIGNEDBYDESPA guitar. God, that feeling was so amazing.

WHOOOOOO. ANYWAY.

Jogged over to the MUCC signing and jumped in line with Aoi and fellow [geist] mates who were at the very front (bitches be y'alls) and chilled and chatted with them for a while. Knew pretty much everyone in that line, too, lol. Most MUCC fans know each other, haha, since there are so few and far between. Anyway. Tatsu-kun and Nii~ jump in line with us (sorry guys, but they had to, Rojiura and all. :D) and we stand around waiting for MUCC. Cue fangirl alarm and I barely had time to turn around and slap Satochi's hand before they were already getting situated in their seats. Damn bastards are fast! Or I just really need to pay more fucking attention.

Aoi was first (:D) and handed them their gift bag of AWESOME and did her thing. Then came [geist]: Sai, Hiro, Kane, Kai, and me. (Not sure about the order, but I know me and Kai were last) Gave them our cd with our songs and the Kuukyo na Heya cover and Kai was trying to remind Miya of their encounter at Otakon. Miya was all, "Oh? :D? Oh, oh? Ohhhhh, yeah, yeah!! lol :D" XD He's like a little kid. So then it was my turn. I looked at Yukke and he looked back, grinned and waved. I think he remembered me from Friday, lol. I waved back and we kinda held eye contact for a minute and/or we were zoning out simultaneously while staring at each other in a kind of freakishly disturbing way. *cough*... I snapped out of it and slapped down the zy 39 poster (thank you _mistress) for him to sign. After he signed it, he started signing one of the free posters they were giving out, but for some dumbass reason I stopped him and I slapped my bass down on the table. He made the BIGGEST :O face imaginable (I kid you not) and kinda rose out of his seat a little bit. He stared at it for a good minute and looked at me, still with the :O face, and pointed from it to me, "Yours?! :O?!" I got that a lot. XD I nodded vigorously with a "hai" and he commenced the signing process. After he signed it, he inspected it, turning it over and whatnot, then nodded a few times, patted the strings and gave me a thumbs up, and said either "good" or "verii nice :D." I WAS HAPPY DESU. He held out his hand and I took it between both of mine and shook it, bowing as I said "どうもありがとうございます." I then put my hands together and bowed low a second time. He gave me a big smile and passed the bass along to Tatsurou. Another :O!! face and he looked at me with GINORMOUS Tatsurou saucer eyes and was like "Yours?!" (I'm starting to sound like a broken record XD) and pointed at me. I nodded with more "はい"s and he proceeded to sign it. He smiled and said thank you, and again I shook his hand in both of mine (it's more respectful) and bowed with more thank yous. Again I bowed low a second time. Just gonna say I did this with every member so I don't have to repeat myself again. Moving onto Miya, he made a more reserved :O face, kinda did an "Ohh ho ho?" thing and this time only pointed between me and the bass. I smiled retardedly, nodded and watched as he signed my bass. Strangely, I only remember him signing it very distinctly because he took his time, unlike the others who were done in .004 seconds (tell me you all noticed that too?!) I'm talking this guy REALLY took his time. He colored in the eye all slow and OCD-like and I just stared at it as his signature formed on my bass. I was in some other world by that point, where nothing but my bass and Miya's hand signing it existed. What the hell kinda MUCC high was I on?

Right.

So a century later Miya finished signing it and we exchanged handshakes and thanks and moved on to Satochi. Lollerskates. He pretty much had the same reaction as everyone else and I lol'ed mentally at his facial expression. He signed it, with shook hands and said our thank-yous and.... it was over.

My MUCC-signing experience was over.

But not entirely!!

We were told to stick around and that we'd get a chance to take pictures with them with our cosplay business and whatnot. So we stand around achill, talking to like a kajillion people because I seriously saw my entire friends list at that show. Everyone and their mother kept taking pictures of me and my bass and our Rojiura group. People who didn't even know what the fuck we were wearing were taking pictures. It was insane.

After the last few autographs were done, they told people to get in line again, this time for pictures.

Kai was trying to get me in line again with geist, but I was busy talking to some people so I just waited off to the side until it was their turn, then jumped in with them. Satochi FTW!!! I couldn't stop lawling over the pictures once I saw them after the show. This band fucking wins.

After a few people took pictures we walked off and stood to the side, chatted and being generally retarded, until the one lady with them told us to get in for the Rojiura group pic.



Around 2,738,203 people kept taking pictures of us, so we were all looking in random directions and we stayed like that for approximately 15 minutes before people FINALLY finished their camwhoring of us. IT'S JUST ROJIURA PEOPLE, I MEAN REALLY.

So we finally finished getting pictures with my favorite band in the world. I got up and turned around to acknowledge Yujje one last time and he grinned and waved spastically. I grinned and waved back as equally spastic and said thank you to all of them again. We stuck around until they were finished and made their leave. We all clapped and cheered as they walked off out of our sight. I looked back at the table the most awesome band in the world had just been sitting and felt... sad. This time, it really was the last time I'd see them until they return once again. It was a strange, depressing feeling.

Some time during or after the MUCC signing we saw Ryo from the Underneath walking around and getting attacked by fangirl cameras and thought, hey why not join the fun? and snagged some pictures of him with friends.

When it was my turn, Ryo pretty much freaked out when he saw my bass and was all "OMG OMG :O!! Let's HOLD IT I WANNA HOLD IT" and kept fondling the damn thing. We fumbled around trying to get a good grip on it and not have it all awkwardlike. We finally got it up for the picture and he had like a sumo death grip on it and was really freaking excited about it (you can tell in the photo)

It's kinda freaky how we're the same height and have almost the exact same haircut. :| He's a closet Yukke fan. He shook my hand and had the biggest grin on his face and made a comment about my bass again, but I totally forgot what he said. He got attacked by more things people wanted sign and pictures so we left him to fend for himself. :D

Not long after, we run into Tal (or Masaki?) and Masato and we all get in for a group picure of epic sauce.

The Underneath is such a kick-ass band.

After that, we decided it was time to go, and we all planned to head over to Denny's for some late-night grub. Ryo got a fucking parking citation because apparently where she parked was student permit holders only? wtf? There was a fucking event, the college shouldn't have given out any on that night, unless someone was parked illegally. It was such bullshit, but I digress. We get to Denny's and chat about our epicass night of AWESOME and get to ordering food. I got me some smothered cheese fries cause I haven't had them in a loooooong while. Man they're so good.... And I also got a Strawberry Mango Pucker fruit drink. NO I AM NOT A YUKKE FANBOY. IT'S NOT MY FAULT HE LIKES MANGOS/STRAWBERRIES, TOO, OKAY?!

But daaaaaaaamn, was it good. So after our dinner we sat and talked some more about the awesomeness that is jrock, more specifically MUCC, Despa, the Underneath, MUCC, MUCC, and MUCC.

All too soon it was time to go, and we headed back to the college to get Ryo's car. Tal/Masaki and Masato were outside taking pictures of the statue thing in front of the stadium. They looked like such tourist dorks. It was great. Alas, we began the trip home, and I stayed up to help with directions (even though I started falling asleep later, ごめん、たつし) and thus ended an amazing night.

It was truly an unforgettable night and, without a doubt,

the best night of my life.
